Reason:
Evolve IP will be installing a patch to the load balancers.
Impact:
No impact expected as each load balancer is deployed in a high-availability cluster. The inactive load balancer is updated first and then validated. The pair will then fail-over and the original primary load balancer will then be updated.
Persistent API connections may experience a brief disconnection, but will automatically re-connect.
There is a very low risk of a load balancer experiencing an unexpected issue during the maintenance, if this is the case a brief service outage to API connectivity may be experienced.
Checks:
Validate all VIPs are online and are fully operational after upgrade.
Rollback:
Restore backups and revert config. Engage vendor if required.
User actions:
If any underlying API services rely on authentication you may need to refresh your session or re-login.
