ESXi Host Upgrades UK

Reason: To upgrade the EvolveIP ESXi infrastructure to the latest firmware patch level provided by Broadcom
Impact: Hosts will be updated one at a time and in maintenance mode, no impact to customer should be expected but given the nature of live service servers being migrated there might be some degradation to services during the vmotion process.
Checks: Check host HA and DRS status
Check Vcetner GUI for any errors and take action to resolve
Check Veeam for any errors and ensure it cans till see both clusters
Rollback: Should the lifecycle controller be unable to install the patches then the manual method should be taken.

-d /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/"patch zip file to be entered here \

check for any errors and proceed if none:
esxcli software profile update \
-d /vmfs/volumes/datastore1/patch zip file to be netered here \
-p patch name-standard
once update completed, reboot the server:
reboot
